Complaints Resolution                                      

 

Role: 

 

·        To assist any member to resolve a dispute, difficulty or problem with another member or to assist in resolving any complaint made by a member or members in regard to another member or members.

           

·       To keep the Management Committee of LETS South informed of any complaint and to convey the results of any intervention to the Committee.

 

 

 Job Description: 

 

·        To ensure that any matters brought to the Complaints Resolution Officer are dealt with promptly.

 

·        To attempt to dispel any gossip or rumours, which may circulate through the LETS community as a result of any complaint, made.

 

·        To investigate and deal with in an appropriate manner, any complaints or problems in regard to abuse or possible abuse of any member by another member in the course of carrying out LETS business.

 

·        To investigate in a sensitive and discreet manner any rumours regarding abuse by a member, which may have a bearing on their suitability for membership of LETS South. Any matter must be brought before the Committee for a final decision regarding refusal of membership or revoking of membership.

 

·        To discuss any problems arising with the Membership Coordinator and Chairperson in the process of deciding what course of action to take.

 

To be aware of any members who are in the habit of circulating rumours and be able to deal with any accusations they may make with fairness and sensitivity.
