At LETS South we enable community wealth. What is that, you may ask? The real wealth is in the skills, knowledge and wisdom, of those who live within this community. In the federal money system,(in which LETS works in parallel) those assets are only partially recognised through cash. In LETS, the community is strenthened by a different approach as we are no longer limited by the availabilty of cash.

Barter has in the past been quite effective but limited. Through the worldwide system of LETS, it has broadened out to better effect.

Trade is based on the availability of goods and services of the members, as you will note at other parts of this site.
